It was a huge bump that then turned into a nice bruise all around the socket.

Tylor has also discovered what it means when people ask him to smile or say cheese, so he gave us a great smile to show off his black-eye.

With summer almost here we're eating dinner every night outside before it gets too hot and enjoying some yummy corn.

The boys have decided they prefer to gnaw it off the cob rather then have it cut off which always makes for an entertaining meal.

We also headed out to the beach again. This time it was windy and high tide so the water wasn't quite as much fun.

Tylor had an incident where he waded in and got knocked over by a wave and had been dunked under about 3 times before I made it to him. He got a little scared from that and spent the rest of the morning staying very close by which is very atypical for him (he never wants to sit on my lap). He prefers to play by himself or as he says, "Tywer doit".

Every so often we also get visits from some beautiful dragon flys. We've seen them blue, green, yellow and this one was red, orange and pink depending on how the light hit him. He spent a good 30 minutes flying around us, landing on the branch, and checking out the boys as much as they were checking out him. He even did a little dragonfly wiggle-dance with his abdomen that I tried to catch on video but it ended up being blurry.
