This time, I said I was going to reduce the amount of food because we always have way too much.

Well apparently that just is not possible for me- the table was still full, and we had way to much.

We put up the decorations the night before. When Tylor came downstairs that morning to see the streamers and balloons his eyes got really big and he let out an enthusiastic WOW!

The theme was Chuggington so while I finished up the party food Steve and the boys tried to put the train track together for everyone to play with when they got there. They had a difficult time all getting coordinated on whether they were building a track or taking one apart. Steve finally gave up and waited until nap time to finish it. We also had a cute engineers outfit for Tylor to wear. He took one look at it and absolutely refused to put it on. He wouldn't even wear the hat - instead he insisted on wearing pants that were a few inches too short, guess its time to clean out his drawers a bit.

Most of the kids didn't want to wear the hats either so a few of the dads decided to join the fun and wear them.

When it was cake time Tylor was so excited that all the attention was on him.

He was all giggles while everyone was singing.

Gave a big applause when everyone was done singing, blew out his candles (with a little help from big brother) and ceased the opportunity to enjoy the cake.

Once the cake was gone he proceeded to have a cupcake too.

He happily sat at the table eating cake and cupcakes while everyone else went off to play, he had his priorities straight that day. You only turn 2 once :)
